Volunteer at the LN360 challenge | Loch Ness 360° Trail

Volunteers Required

Visit Inverness Loch Ness require volunteers to support the delivery of the 1st Loch Ness 360 Challenge in May 2021 and ensure that it is a success.

As the event is over three days and takes participants around the whole of Loch Ness on the Great Glen Way and South Loch Ness Trail, we require 80 -100 persons for the following tasks:

27th May to 31st May 2021

Registration and providing event information for participants
Helping to set up the event village in Dores on the 27th and ensuring the site is cleared on the morning of 31st May.
Setting up signage and aid/water station requirements

28th, 39th and 30th May 2021

Registration and providing event information for participants
Setting up signage and aid/water station requirements
Marshalling out on the trail – during the days and overnight on the 29th May.

How To Volunteer

If you wish to volunteer whether it be for one day or more and be part of this fantastic new event in the area, please contact us here.

If you are part of a charitable organisation that is able to provide a number of volunteers, Visit Inverness Loch Ness will in return make a donation to the charity in appreciation of your assistance.

All volunteers will receive event merchandise including a tote bag, beanie hat, and a snood.

Volunteers Team Leaders

In addition to volunteers, we require 8 ‘Team leaders’ to take overall responsibility for event requirements and volunteers over sections of the events route around the loch. Ideally, those chosen will have experience of this work but it is not a necessary requirement. In return, the Team Leaders will be financially rewarded and receive additional event merchandise.
