The All New Loch Ness 360° Trail | Loch Ness 360

Welcome to the Loch Ness 360° Trail

The Loch Ness 360° Trail is an epic walking, cycling, running and outdoor activity trail in the Scottish Highlands. The trail loops the entire circumference of Loch Ness. You can start and finish in the Highland Capital of Inverness, or join the trail at any point of your choice.

This trail connects the Great Glen Way and the South Loch Ness Trail into one circuit around the loch. Covering some 80 miles, it’s so much more than just a trail and a cycle route. The LN360° Trail is one of the great new walking and bike trails in Scotland!

Explore the beauty of Loch Ness for yourself. There’s so much to see and do in this beautiful part of Scotland, that one visit is never enough! The Loch Ness 360° trail is waiting.

Walking or Cycling the LN360°

The Loch Ness 360° Trail is split into six sections. Section One begins in Inverness and takes you around the loch. Follow them in order, and Section Six will bring you back to where you started. Each section takes around a day to walk, or half a day to cycle. Of course, if you don’t have time to do the full route, you can choose just one or two of the sections to follow.

The trail starts north of Loch Ness in Inverness and passes around its banks, through Drumnadrochit and Invermoriston to Fort Augustus in the south, following the Great Glen Way. It then takes you back up from Fort Augustus, through Foyers and Dores, along the South Loch Ness Trail.

There’s so much to see and do on this spectacular journey. Highlights include the magnificent Falls of Foyers, Suidhe Viewpoint, Caledonian Canal and Urquhart Castle. Experience the beauty of Scottish Highlands like never before on the Loch Ness 360° Trail!
